It’s a public health tool, not a roadmap for premature aging and skin cancer.
- Protocol implicationIf you actively address aging, this is a data point worth logging, not a directive to change the protocol on its own.
An Injectable Biopolymer Hydrogel Complex (PN/HA/B3) for Facial Skin Redensification and General Rejuvenation: Clinical Report on Device Safety and Efficacy.
This study evaluated the safety and effectiveness of HYDRAGEL A2, an injectable medical device containing hyaluronic acid (HA), polynucleotides (PN), and niacinamide, for improving facial skin quality. These ingredients are increasingly recognized for their synergistic effects in aesthetic medicine, with HA and PN providing hydration and skin support, and niacinamide offering anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. A prospective, open-label clinical investigation was conducted on 42 female subjects (mean age 45 ± 1 years, Fitzpatrick skin phototypes II-V) to assess skin elasticity, hydration, and mild skin depression correction following cheek area injections.
Translational Evaluation of a Disodium Adenosine Monophosphate (AMP2Na)-Based Topical Formulation for Physiology-Aligned Skin Rejuvenation: Integrated In Vitro, Ex Vivo, and Clinical Evidence.
Skin aging stems from intrinsic decline and external stressors that induce oxidative stress and mitochondrial damage, ultimately lowering cellular energy production and slowing epidermal turnover to cause wrinkles, dryness, and pigment imbalances. While disodium adenosine monophosphate (AMP2Na) is hypothesized to enhance cellular adenosine triphosphate production and restore epidermal metabolism, its broader anti-aging effects have remained underexplored. To address this, a multi-tiered study integrating in vitro, ex vivo, and clinical investigations was conducted.
Device-Free Auricular Acupressure for Rosacea: A Randomized Clinical Trial.
To evaluate the clinical efficacy of device-free auricular acupressure for rosacea and verify its neuroimmunomodulatory effects using serum biomarkers and immediate vascular imaging in a sham-controlled trial. DESIGN, SETTING, AND PARTICIPANTS: This single-center, randomized, sham-controlled, assessor-masked trial was conducted in the Dermatology Outpatient Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from October 2025 to May 2026 and included 204 patients with rosacea who were receiving standard first-line treatment. Participants were assigned in a 1:1 ratio using block randomization.
